Coming Soon: Park Square + 3M Teen Professional Intensive

Presented in partnership with 3M

Park Square Theatre is proud to partner with 3M on the Park Square + 3M Teen Professional Intensive (TPI) - a reimagined and expanded summer program building on the success of last year’s Teen Intensive production of Clue: The Musical!

This four-week, hands-on intensive introduces high school students to the intersection of STEM, engineering, and professional theatre production through two focused participation tracks: Acting and Technical Theatre. Students work alongside Park Square’s designers, technicians, and teaching artists, with additional mentorship from 3M professionals, gaining real-world experience in collaboration, problem-solving, and creative innovation.

Participants in the Technical Theatre track explore lighting, sound, scenic design, costuming, props, and engineering principles, while Acting track students engage in performance training, rehearsal, and ensemble-based storytelling. Together, both tracks collaborate toward a fully realized production of Little Shop of Horrors, applying their skills in a live professional setting.

This intensive prioritizes access, mentorship, and career exploration, empowering students, particularly those from historically underrepresented communities, to explore pathways in STEAM and the performing arts while building confidence and professional skills.

Auditions for Little Shop of Horrors will be launching soon.

Please watch our website, email updates, and social media channels for additional information and audition announcements.
