Auditions for Park Square's Holiday Main Stage show THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER! Directed by Ellen Fenster

  • Monday July 29th

  • 1:00-3:00 for adult non-equity actors ages 30's-40's
  • 3:00-6:00 for children and teens ages 7 - 18

  • Tuesday July 30th

  • 3:00-6:00 - for children and teens ages 7 -18
  • 6:00- 8:00 - for adults non-equity actors ages 30's-40's
  • These are paid positions


  • October 28 - November 23
  • Tech/Dress rehearsals Nov 25-27
  • (Off for Thanksgiving Nov 28,29)
  • Tech/Dress resumes Nov 30-Dec 3
  • Three evenings a week 4:00-8:00
  • Saturday and Sundays 10:00-4:00

Not everyone is called for each rehearsal in the first weeks.


  • December 4 - December 22nd
  • Thursdays - Saturdays @ 7:00pm
  • Sundays @ 2:00
  • Four days of student matinees at 10:00am and 1:00pm

Children and Teen actors are paid a stipend of $60 per week.

Adult actors are paid our Non-Equity rates.

No preparation needed for the audition. You'll read scenes from the script.

  • For the season
  • Park Square Theatre is accepting resumes for Equity Stage Managers for its 2024/25 season.
  • For our first production of Holmes/Poirot
  • We are looking more immediately for an Equity stage manager our fall production of the world premiere of Holmes/Poirot a new play by Jeff Hatcher and Steve Hendrickson. Directed by David Ira Goldstein. Featuring actors Steve Hendrickson, Bob Davis, Warren Bowles, Stacia Rice, Anna Beth Baker, Norah Long, David Andrew Macdonald, Olivia Osol and Dan Petzold. The production launches Park Square's 2024/25 season.

Park Square operates on an Equity SPT 5 contract. Pay for this position is $650 per week.

The production schedule is as follows (there is some flexibility with the schedule)

Pay period begins Sept 3 through Nov 3 (Nine weeks)

Sept 3 - 7 - SM Prep week

Sept 10- Oct 3 - Rehearsals

Oct 3 - 8 - Tech

Oct 9-10 - Previews

Oct 11 -Nov 3 - Performances (Thurs-Sat @7:00 / Sundays @ 2:00

Title: Advancement Manager

Reports To: Executive Artistic Director and Managing Director

Coordinates with: Resource and Development Committee and Park Square staff

Status: Full-time, exempt 40 hours/week occasional evening and weekend work required-depending on events

Salary & Benefit Package: $60,000-$65,000, including full Health/medical with dental option and generous PTO plan.

Park Square Theatre is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Advancement Manager. The Advancement Manager will have experience supporting external relations through development and marketing. Park Square Theatre is looking for an individual with a willingness to grow in leadership with a quickly advancing organization.

This vital position will develop and implement effective strategies to build productive and rewarding external relationships to benefit the Theatre. This individual will be mature, articulate, and confident – thriving in social and business situations, one-on-one and with groups of all sizes.



● Serve as a core member of the staff

● Participate in staff and board committee meetings

● Manage CRM database


● Coordinate marketing and communications to promote the theater’s activities

● Coordinate outside grant contractors

● Execute external marketing and communication strategies

● Coordinates marketing efforts including social media, emails, press materials and electronic or printed promotional materials, including programs

● Collaborate with Park Square Theatre staff on marketing calendar for all events and programs

● Work with Executive Artistic Director to respond to all necessary communications on social media, email as well as press releases or other media communications

● Update and edit the Park Square Theatre website


● Builds and sustains individual giving through building relationships and detail-oriented execution of responsibilities.

● Manage gift processing and acknowledgements through Patron Manager

● Manage and maintain donor and foundation lists and maintain development calendar

● Supports board of directors in planning and executing fundraising events, including promotion and administrative support

● Build and sustain corporate and foundation giving

● Serve on the Resource Development Committee and guide committee assignments

● Work with contracted grant writers, ensuring deadlines are met for proposals and reports.


Education: Bachelor's degree in arts administration, marketing, communications or related or equivalent work experience

Minimum Experience:

● Experience working in development or marketing for a non-profit organization

● Familiarity with Twin Cities fundraising community

● Experience creating social media and or website and email content

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Excellent time management, organizational and critical thinking skills

● Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion

● Experience working in collaboration with others in a team environment

Desired Experience:

● Design experience on digital platforms

● Experience using Marketing 360, Emma, Patron Manager, Canva and/or Coursestorm a plus
