Holmes and Watson

SaveHolmes and Watson: July 12 - August 21Holmes and WatsonHolmes and Watson

Sherlock Holmes is dead, or is he? Dr. Watson receives a telegram from a mental asylum: three patients are claiming to be Sherlock Holmes. Did the world’s greatest sleuth fake his own death? Who’s the real detective and who are the imposters? Tight, clever, and full of suspense, this is Jeffrey Hatcher (Mr. Holmes; The Good Liar) at his best.

Educator Night Out Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the purpose of the event?
We want to celebrate educators and those dedicated to the development of young people. Whether you are curious about Park Square and SteppingStone, want to see a play, or spend social time with colleagues, we want to tell you about our programs and how they might be useful to you and your students.

What happens during the program portion of the evening?
Staff, educators, and teaching artists will talk to you about our season and educational offerings at Park Square.

Will we see the whole production?
Yes, you will see the full performance of Holmes and Watson

May I come for just the dinner and the play?
We would like you to be present for the social time and the program, so even if you will arrive somewhat late for the program, please still come. We will have late seating available.

How late will the event run?
The show will end at about 9:30 pm.

May I bring a guest who is not an educator?
Yes, you may. Each educator may bring a non-educator as a guest. We would, however, prefer to have at least 50% educators at the event.

How late can I RSVP?
We recommend you reserve as soon as possible. Capacity for dinner is limited!

Can I pay the night of the event?
Unfortunately, no. The event sells out and we will need advance payment to hold your seat.

I am going to arrive about 20 minutes late, what should I do?
Just let us know that and we will hold your name tag, tickets and glass of wine for you. We will have greeters in the lobby of the theatre to welcome you. Email Amanda Hestwood at

Where is Park Square Theatre and how do I get there?
We are located in downtown Saint Paul, one block south of Mickey’s Diner on St. Peter Street, kitty corner from the Landmark Center. We have two stages, and this event will take place in the Proscenium Stage and the entrance is below the marquee on West 7th Place.

Where do I park?
You may park at any of the ramps listed at the link below. For this event, we recommend that you avoid street parking. The meters will run until 10pm in most areas of downtown St. Paul. Please visit Park Square Theatre’s website and click on the “Your Visit” tab, then click on “Getting Here.”
