Your experience at Park Square Theatre is our highest priority. Let us know what you need to fully enjoy the show, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please specify individual needs when ordering your tickets.
Our new 200-seat thrust stage brings you really close to the action with seating on three sides of the stage. Wheelchair accessible seating is available in the front row of the center section.
(Note: Various sizes of seating will be available for the new Boss Stage, but we won’t know where they are located for a while.)
Our 348-seat Proscenium theatre provides an intimate theatrical experience. Wheelchair accessible seating is available on the sides of row F, as well as at the top of the house in the “Queen’s Box” and in our private viewing booth (by special arrangement).
Just looking for more room?
In addition to aisle seats, Proscenium Stage Row G (seats 7-17) and Row H (seats 1-6 and 18-23) have the best leg room. The majority of our seats are 21-22 inches wide, but we also have 48 seats throughout the house that are 22 inches wide and 10 seats that are 23 inches wide. Please consult the seating charts for more detail, or ask the ticket agent when you call about seats with extra leg room or width.
Private Viewing Box
This sound-proof viewing box at the back of the house with an expansive glassed-in view of the stage and sound monitor offers seating for up to six guests or three wheelchairs with companion seats. The private viewing box may
be reserved by special arrangement; it is not available for purchase online.
Assisted Listening & ASL/AD Performances
Our FM enhanced listening system is available for hearing assistance and/or audio description. There is no charge for this service. Assisted Listening Devisces are available from our Patron Services Desk, located at the Coat Check. ASL interpreted and Audio Described performances are available on the third Saturday of each production. Patrons using this service receive half-price tickets; please call the Ticket Office at 651.291.7005 for details.
Thanks to special funding from the Minnesota State Arts Board Legacy Funds and VSA Minnesota, and equipment loaned by the Guthrie Theater, we offer open captioning for select performances. Captions of the text are displayed on a screen near the stage, visible from almost all seats. To take advantage of open captioning, check the performance calendar or call the Ticket Office at 651.291.7005 for details.
Park Square has several seating locations in both standard and premium seating, as well as restrooms, that are available for patrons using wheelchairs. Wheelchair accessible seating is available between rows F and G and also in the “Queen’s Box” toward the back of the house.
Large print and braille playbills are available from our Patron Services desk, located at the Coat Check.
Service animals, such as guide dogs, are permitted to assist Park Square patrons.
Sensory Tours are scheduled on select Audio Described matinee performances, beginning at noon. The tours allow patrons to explore some of the stage, costumes, and props of the show. Performances with a Sensory Tour are indicated in print materials on the Audio Description performance schedule.
