French Twist

Park Square Presents Theatre in Residence Flying Foot Forum

French Twist
Jun 22 – Jul 15, 2018

Directed and Choreographed by Joe Chvala
Comic Dance Theatre
on the ANDY BOSS THRUST STAGE

Immerse yourself in gorgeous music, theatrical storytelling and percussive dance set in a Parisian nightclub. This mash up fuses vaudeville, tap, cabaret, follies and opera to evoke Americans’ wildest imaginings of life in the City of Light. “A Francophile’s dream: or rather, an absinthe-soaked, fantastical mélange of hyper-kinetic dancing, rapid-fire rhyming, wildly inventive percussion, live on-stage music and vibrantly patterned costuming.” – Camille LeFevre, Star Tribune

“It’s eclectic, fun, wild, and of course there’s the can-can.”
 – Founding Artistic Director Joe Chvala.

Featuring the talents of Jeremy Bensussan, Jan Campbell, Joe Chvala, JP Fitzgibbons, Karla Grotting, Michael Hasenmueller, Brandon Jackson, Eric Jensen, Kaleena Miller, Falicia Nichole, Peter O’Gorman, Charles Robison and Molly Kay Stoltz.
